Top Chef Canada Season 2 Premieres March 12; Six Toronto Chefs Among Contestants

Top Chef Canada's sophomore season will hit the airwaves via Food Network Canada starting March 12.

The show will once again feature 16 of Canada's most talented stars battling for top culinary honours.

Reknown Chef Mark McEwan is back as the show's head judge, and this season he's joined by actress/model Lisa Ray, who replaces season one host Thea Andrews.  Shereem Arazm also returns as resident judge.

Six of this season's contestants are from Toronto: Carl Heinrich - Executive Chef at Marben; David Chrystian - Exec Chef/Co-Owner at Victor restaurant at Le Germain Hotel; Ryan Gallagher - Sous Chef at Ruby Watchco; Sarah Tsai of the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club; Trisha Sheen - Head Chef at Crush Wine Bar; and Elizabeth Rivasplata - Sous Chef at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
