We here at P&B love technology. We both use Blackberry Messenger like crazy, so why not show our deep conversations to the world! This is a first in the Blogosphere (we think). Here it is: The P&B BBM Chat.

Fabiola: Sunglasses and Advil, last night was mad real
Meezy: Holy shit that's my story right now!
Fabiola: B-)
Young T: Welcome to the jungle made my night. I was happy from that point onward!
Fabiola: Amazing! I pretty much lost my mind the entire time. We went in. It was CRAY!!!!!!!!!
Young T: I'm so impressed with how professional Jay is as a performer...in a complete league of his own
Fabiola: He sets a standards that so many dream to reach. I left feeling inspired for real
Meezy: Jay is the league. All the other cats are playing in the minors.
Young T: I'm walking Summer (Turnbull's dog) right now but as soon as I get back to the crib I'm blasting Jay-Z unplugged on Rdio! Lol
Young T: I'm all about Jay-Z live today!!
Fabiola: A-ma-zing! This household is pretty Jay-Z heavy and that theme will carry out today. Can I say that Jay-Z's ROC symbol was a genius branding move "throw your diamonds up"
Meezy: Can we talk about the flow of the concert? The transitions were so smooth from Jay to Ye's personal catalogs with each track upping the "hell yeah" factor.
Fabiola: Black excellence, opulence, decadence
Young T: I was actually surprised with how good tracks from Watch the Throne came off in the live setting, especially New Day and Made it in America.
Young T: But the whole event felt like 2 separate concerts, which was really dope!
Meezy: It was a great merger. Best business merger I've ever seen!
Meezy: I'm with you re The Throne tracks. I was rocking out to New Day running errands and I'm feeling it now. Live shows give you a whole new appreciation for songs you didn't dig in the past.
Fabiola: When they described WTT as being hip hop couture I now see how that term makes complete sense seeing it live. The complete experience was stunning. The creative team behind the project was insane. It was Kanye and Es Devlin for the set design, Nick Whitehouse for lighting and Geodezik for the videos.
Young T: It was great seeing Kanye showcase tracks from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, since he didn't tour in support of that album last year. I definitely thought "Power" was a highlight. And All of the Lights did it for me as well.....Yeezy stopping the song twice to ensure that all the lights were indeed "on" is such a reflection of his asshole perfectionism, which was hilarious!
Fabiola: I just remembered that! The man has fire and intensity in his eyes. A true showman.
Meezy: They are truly perfectionist in their own right. Executioners if you will.
Meezy: Is it wrong to compare Jay and Ye to Batman and Robin? There was definitely a big brother vibe going on.
Meezy: No dis to Ye on the Robin comparison by the way. Robin can take care of himself in any battle!
Fabiola: It's a fair comparison. I think they both embody excellence in their own way. Excellence is about
delivering goodness consistently...whether it's being a witty lyricist with a flow like no other (Jay-Z) or creating crazy beats with rhymes that highlight your strengths and "gets the people going" (Kanye)
Meezy: Cause it's controversial? Ni**as In Paris 5 times!!!!!
Fabiola: By the way Ni**as in Paris is about to go number 1 on the charts (my prediction)
Young T: I do think the show wasn't flawless though....I definitely felt a loss in momentum during That's My Bitch, especially because the crowd was getting so hyped during I Just Wanna Love You....a bit of a let down. And I thought No Church in The Wild felt a bit pedestrian at the point in the show when it was performed (near the end of the set)
Young T: But these are just very small complaints on an otherwise epic performance.
Meezy: Agreed. The only way it could've been flawless is if P&B picked the setlist!
Meezy: On my side, I thought the encore could've been way better. I like Paris, but it would've been nice to hear Encore and another Ye banger like The Workout Tape or Through the Wire.
Meezy: Can't have it all really...I'm with you re the complaints. Worth every penny of the fortune we spent on tickets.
Fabiola: I got my money's worth in the first half hour, but ya, they could've squeezed one more hit in there...
Young T: And what else can be said about the visuals?? Absolutely stunning....true performance art. I think Kanye had his stamp all over those....the wild animals especially. Just gorgeous. Reminded me a lot of the short film from his last album
Meezy: Runaway! That flick was on some next shit!
Meezy: The visuals were bananas but what killed it for me were the lasers. Frickin lasers everywhere!
Meezy: Kanye played off the lasers way more than Jay. I especially liked when Kanye was on the platform closest to the stage and was in a "laser cone box". He looked trapped in the middle as it rotated around him. I feel like there's some symbolism behind that...loneliness? Separated from the real world? In his own world kind of like Pink Floyd's The Wall?
Meezy: As in being trapped behind the layers?
Fabiola: They scouted some top talent for the visuals and lighting. Es Devlin has a theatre background and managed to create a 3D performance space. The stage went beyond a typical concert setting. It was breathtaking!
Young T: My overall score for the show is a very solid 9 out of 10.....outrageously priced but worth it!
Fabiola: Overall score for me is a 12 out of 10. I know it's ridiculous but our seats were insane. We happen to be sitting right in front of the LED light boxes and the crew we had was dope. I think it was a true experience! Also, it was my first time seeing both performers, that in itself is enough for a perfect score.
Meezy: 9 out of 10 for me. The reasons why I didn't give it a 10? The lack of a proper encore and the spontaneous start time/lack of consistency through out all of the tour dates for the show's kick off. I missed most, if not all, of H.A.M.! Best show I've had the pleasure of witnessing since Radiohead for In Rainbows.
