(Photo via blog.gesteves.com)
Every dude that watched Back to the Future II wanted a pair of these futuristic sneakers. Nike and the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease have teamed up to bring the Nike Mag from the screen to the streets.

If you're dying to snag a pair of these sick kicks, you need to get your act together asap! The Nike Mags are limited to 1,500 sets which will be available for auction on eBay. Fox's Foundation and Nike will release 150 pairs per day for your bidding pleasure. A quick warning for you: you'll need 2000 2020 Sports Almanac cash to successfully win a pair of Mags. When I checked eBay last night, the bids were floating between 3 to 6 K per with a little over an hour left. The first buyer has been revealed as Tinie Tempah, a UK MC, for approx. 31K. This is def for sneakerheads with deep pockets or rabid movie buffs.

The shoes unfortunately do not include the "power lace", but do rock a lit Nike logo on the tongue with additional lights on the bottom and heel of the shoe. The Mags have an internal chargeable battery that can be topped up with the AC charger included in the box.

Here is the wicked promo for the Nike Mag featuring Kevin Durant, Bill Hader and Doc Emmett Brown:

All of the money from the auction will be donated to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease and will run until September 18th.
