Hoops fans ... how's your "Bracketology" going?
The 2011 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament, AKA "March Madness" is in full swing, with 3rd round action taking place all day Saturday and Sunday.
This is by far my favourite sports tournament.
You never know who's gonna beat who ... Upsets can happen at a moment's notice!
For those of you that filled out a bracket, are your picks going as planned? I was ready to rip up my sheet after a few of Thursday's games (damn you, Louisville, St John's, and Michigan State!) but I've snuck in some solid upset picks too, so I might be okay (thank you George Mason, Florida State, and Marquette!)
Even Prez Obama (above) takes a shot at predicting which teams will win games, and make their way to Houston for this year's "Final Four" showdown. He's taken some heat for filling out a bracket to begin with, instead of focusing all his attention on current global crises ... I'll let you be the judge on that. Apparently though, his picks are going very well.
My Final Four picks: Ohio State, Duke, Kansas, Kansas State.
Final game: Duke vs. Kansas. Kansas wins 78-74.
We'll see how I do. In the meantime ... Enjoy the Action!
