Are You Hyped For Jay-Z and Yeezy's Watch The Throne?

H.A.M., the first offering from Throne was released what seems like ages ago with one simple goal: get people talking about the Jigga/Ye collabo. It worked. And the reviews were mixed. Personally, I thought the track was and still is hot. The song is epic, oozing with swag, as you would expect from these 2 MCs. My only knock on the track is Kanye's verse. It is the worst he's dropped...ever. Thankfully, Jay-Z bats clean up and reminds us yet again why he's a king among pawns.

For those of you waiting for this album to drop, the official street date is August 1st for the digital copy and August 5th for the hard copy. There have been official listening sessions for Watch the Throne, with Jay hosting one in Paris. P&B was suprisingly not invited to any of these events, so we'll have to wait like all of you to get a taste. In the meantime (or least until they move out the release date again), here is the track listing:

My call on this album going in deaf? Epicness bordering on Epicmageddon. I can't see Kanye and Hov releasing anything less than a masterpiece. But I have been wrong in the past (see: Lupe Fiasco, Lasers) and those cats have world class egos. What's dope to the Gs in the studio, might not be dope for the gander.
