White Horse...I Mean Christmas. Scott Weiland Croons In The Yuletide Season.

Hell freezes over can work here, but it's been used to death. This is more like a kick to the mistletoe in a "that's ridiculously funny" kind of way. Scott Weiland, former lead singer for Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, released a Christmas album entitled The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Seriously.

Friday Flashback - Recidivism Edition

re·cid·i·vism: : a tendency to relapse into a previous condition or mode of behavior; especially : relapse into criminal behavior 

The term basically sums up Scott Weiland's tumultuous career as frontman of Stone Temple Pilots, one of the most underrated Alt-Rock bands from the past 20 years.  Weiland's ongoing substance abuse issues were well documented, and may have hindered this truly great band from reaching their full potential.

"Vasoline" was the second single from the band's sophomore release, Purple.
