Would you all please stop calling Doug Martin "The Muscle Hamster??"

He hates his nickname.

Now I know, I know....it's a hilarious handle!

But seriously, folks.....Doug does not like it. (And yes I'm talking to you, Tony Kornheiser!)

NFL Network's Game Day Morning show today aired clips from LaDainian Tomlinson's interview with the 5'9", 223-lb Martin, in which he voiced his opinion on his imposed Muscle Hamster moniker.

He's not feeling it.

And can you blame the man?

Martin's preferred nicknames include "The Dougernaut" or "Martin Scores-easy"

But anyway.....

The diminuitive rookie running back sensation outta Boise State has been MURDERING IT for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season, and he currently leads the league in yards from scrimmage.

Martin has stepped wonderfully into the Bucs backfield this season, making everyone forget about LeGarrette Blount, while reminding us all of Warrick Dunn.

Props to Buccaneers Coach Greg Schiano for doing a nice job so far this season.
